Getting Started with ATU IT Services and Software:
Firstly, you need to ensure that you are a registered student of IBAT and ATU before you can get access to any IT Services or online resources.

ATU User Account and Email:
Students are provided with user account credentials (username/password). You will have received a letter with your registration pack providing you with username and password. The username will be your student number which takes the format like ‘L00123456’ and 9-character alphanumeric password. This password must be kept safe – do not share this password. The following services will require the use of your user account – please take note of the format username will change depending on the services you are accessing.

- IBAT Computer Login User Account:
Also known as an Active Directory account allows you to access any college computer in the IBAT campus.
The login details are below:
Username: student
Password: dublin-001 - ATU Blackboard Account:
Blackboard is ATU's Blackboard VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) and will be used for some of your classes, other class will use IBAT's Moodle VLE. You will need to use your ATU student email address (user login ID) and password to access Blackboard.
The user login ID will be your: ATUsudentID@atu.ie e.g L00123456@atu.ie.

All registered students are issued with a Microsoft Office 365 account which is also your ATU email account.
Your student email address and Office 365 username will the take the following format: ATUsudentID@atu.ie e.g L00123456@atu.ie. - Your password will be your 9 character alphanumeric password.

You ATU account allows you to log into ATU's online information resources.
