The researcher identified this topic and developed research objectives which allowed for secondary, then primary research to be carried out on this particular market segment. From the research a number of conclusions are reached by the researcher on this topic. Subsequently a number of recommendations are suggested based on the findings, to allow for better use of elements in the marketing strategic choices of new homes in Dublin.
The researcher, whilst identifying and clarifying the research problem/question was not aware of any previous topic specific research carried out in these pre-selected segment areas. In addition working in the industry and particularly the specific geographical area, this allows for the research content, process and findings to be utilised for the better marketing within the researchers own place of employment.
Particular subject areas were investigated, i.e. consumer behaviour, strategic marketing and an understanding of new homes industry in Dublin. More specific primary resarch was conducted to allow for the researcher to meet objectives, which in turn answered the research question. A seven stage research process plan was adopted and allowed for choices to be made 9i.e. design strategy, sampling strategy, and primary research methods), whichwere appropriate and justified for the completion this thesis. |
